Haven Early Learning was established in 2016, but we have rich history within the Rowville community with this property previously being known as the Rowville CFA Fire Station. Transforming into a modern purpose-built childcare service, Haven Early Learning incorporates large spaces filled with light and inspiring outdoor areas with natural surroundings.

River Room

6 weeks-2 years, 16 children
5 staff (1 to 4 ratio)

Children begin their educational journey in our River room, this room is all about developing nurturing relationships for children to establish a sense of belonging at Haven. Our caring educators foster children’s development towards reaching their milestones, with children’s learning being rapid in their first 24 months of life.

Sun Room

2-3 years, 26 children
8 staff (1 to 4 ratio)

Our focus here is supporting children to develop their identity, with our Sun Room educators building trusting relationships with all children to be able to express their unique personalities and form a positive sense of wellbeing; which creates strong foundations for all future learning. Toddlers are full of energy and eager to learn, our Sun room environment incorporates indoor/ outdoor play to scaffold children’s sense of exploration, creativity, language and curiosity.

Forest Room

3-5 years, 36 children
5 staff (1 to 11 ratio)
Funded 3 yr Kinder old program (15 hours) 1 Bachelor Qualified Teacher

Our Forest Room is an integrated 3–5-year-old Kindergarten room, with qualified teachers and experienced educators scaffolding children’s independence, play skills, friendships, emotional regulation and interactions. Children are constantly learning and forming new understandings of the world, this room incorporates indoor/ outdoor play with moments of intentional teaching, structure and offers engaging experiences that expand on children’s interest and support their readiness for 4-year-old Kindergarten.

Field Room

4-5 years, 22 children
3 staff (1 to 11 ratio)
Funded 4 yr Kinder old program (15 hours) 2 Bachelor Qualified Teachers

Our 4-year-old funded Kindergarten is run by highly experienced teachers who implement a curriculum that builds children’s literacy and numeracy knowledge, social skills, self-regulation and language capabilities. Our goal is to ensure children are prepared to enter primary school with scheduled routines, intentional teaching times and promoting learning through play.
